sunday, brunch & bocce

This Sunday was about as perfect as you could ask for! No snow, no wind - the sun was shinning and it was actually warm and balmy. You have to live in the 'north-country' to really understand what I'm saying here: we appreciate, like no one else can, a beautiful day! I'll spare you the boring details but, I could literally go on day about our beautiful day - does that make sense?

Katrina and Grif, a week ago, invited us over for brunch - I accepted readily because I love waffles! They have a 'killer' Cuisinart Belgium waffle cooker from their wedding and wanted to use it! So, after church we headed in the direction of the delicious aroma and found even more than we expected! Bacon, sausage, (2) quiche, OJ, thick-delicious belgium waffles, syrup, berries and of course, peanut butter! Oh, those partaking: Katrina, Grif, Bob, Berta, Grandma and Ty-lard, the orphaned-boy-for-10-days!

Then we were off to play some bocce - just a quiet, little Sunday game!
