Right outside this window there is the most amazing concert going on. If I could be a conductor of a symphony - I would choose the symphony of nature.

The birds are singing for all they're worth - as we speak - they are so happy and busy. I've turned the 'ever-competing-for-our-attention' television and radio off and am just listening! The world has come to life and it's entertaining me. Music to my ears!
Ears! I really appreciate them. I don't think I've ever taken them for granted. I think there is a chance I may be loosing my hearing! No, I haven't really told anyone. I've had a high-pitched ringing in my ears for over a year and the only relief I get from it is to go to sleep! I've learned to tune it out but it's still there. No, don't feel sorry for me - I'm thinking positive and am always looking for solutions - I'll find something. So, in the mean-time I enjoy every bird I hear chirping, every song that is sung - even the sweaky chair I'm sitting in entertains me!

Great picture. What a window view! My dad is having hearing problems too. He cannot hear anything from his left ear. He was fitted for a hearing aid and will NOT get it. So he is always turning his head to the right and asking for everything to be repeated. I worried about my hearing too.
That's not a good thing. I hope that everything will be alright Berta. Have you been tested? Last year, I had a ringing in my right ear, that lasted for months and months, it drove me nuts. All of a sudden, it was gone. Wishing you the best. Kenny can't hear the birds chirp at all anymore, or high shounds. Too much loud farm machinery.

That's where I get it from! I always thought it was from the millions of concerts I have been to, but it is from you. When it's silent it is just a high pitch ringing right? Ya we are pretty much going to be deaf soon. But I say that like that is a bad thing...no it will only heighten all of our other senses, so maybe I won't need contacts anymore:)
