Carter-boy is eight years old today - what a handsome guy he is. Sorry to say, I missed the party! I made him some Rice Krispy treats of his very own. I squish the gooey-mixture in cupcake tins. When they're cooled I slip them out and then decorate with sprinkles - cute and ready to eat without cutting! I've used mini cupcake tins and those work really well for a bite-sized portion!
Woke up to an inch of snow! It melted before long. So nice to have the moisture, I tell myself. I love watering the lawn the lawn in the summer time, so that's sweet.
I hibernated once again today - for the forth day in a row - haven't left the house for anything, not even the mail. Today was my first good day where my lungs had a chance to recuperate from non-stop abuse from a good case of bronchitis. I emptied out the cough syrup bottle to the last drop of 'relief' the began to worry about a refill. Mom came to the rescue with a bottle she had left from her last bought. I have a feeling I'll be emptying that as well! As I went to shower today, first time since Thursday (!!), I passed the mirror! If I didn't know any better, I would have sworn I was dead! I sure didn't look any younger - that's for sure! Nice thing about today - I was out of bed all day - sweet! Bob came home in the afternoon and brought me some "Get Well Soon" flowers! I photographed them all day because I hadn't seen so much color in a long time! Crazy, ha!
Go by and visit Tracey at 'my best shot monday' - such neat images!

Sorry to hear you've been so sick. I was actually in town. I should have brought you some oranges myself. :)
