I hibernated once again today - for the forth day in a row - haven't left the house for anything, not even the mail. Today was my first good day where my lungs had a chance to recuperate from non-stop abuse from a good case of bronchitis. I emptied out the cough syrup bottle to the last drop of 'relief' the began to worry about a refill. Mom came to the rescue with a bottle she had left from her last bought. I have a feeling I'll be emptying that as well! As I went to shower today, first time since Thursday (!!), I passed the mirror! If I didn't know any better, I would have sworn I was dead! I sure didn't look any younger - that's for sure! Nice thing about today - I was out of bed all day - sweet! Bob came home in the afternoon and brought me some "Get Well Soon" flowers! I photographed them all day because I hadn't seen so much color in a long time! Crazy, ha!

My Best Shot Monday
This is MBS for today . . .
Not long ago, Christopher (down at the camera shop) said he liked a pic I took of "Lavender" and said he thought it was sellable (yes, my mother would buy it, Chris!) - but I should change a few things about it. So, this morning I tried shooting it again at the first sign of sun light to see what I could come up with. We still have snow outside - I couldn't bear the thought of trying to take any more pictures of snow - it's almost like I would be giving it (the snow) permission to stick around for another two months! No way!
While most everyone in the country are out in sandals, short sleeves and catching bugs, we're out in our sandals, short sleeves and still shoveling snow! Just wanted to show you how much snow we have left - this can get wellllll, depressing (think WATER, think DRINKING, think WATERING THE LAWN THIS SUMMER, think BATHING, think WATER!) . . . there, I'm better now . . .
This shot was taken as the sun was coming up - love early mornings . . .
