I hurried home from church to . . . not rest . . . to start cooking! I cooked and cooked until everyone showed up at 5:30 p.m.! And after all that, my 'funeral potatoes' were DRY! Oh man, I felt like a failure! HOWEVER, my rolls and the chocolate turtle cake was not too bad AND filled with lots and lots of caramel. We had a rockin' bday party for Grandma with lots of food. My photo skills were suffering tonight - I was 'too pooped to produce!'
Gossip around the dinner table: Shawn and Kandee are building a community, 'membership only' racquet club - two courts, workout room, kitchen for events and a few outdoor amenities. They sold their 'old' Triple 'A' Landscape building and are building a 'new complex at the back of their property that will house their business and the 'new club'. They already have some memberships promised to people in the community! Sounds fun!
We were messing around in the office last night after everyone left and snapped a few pics. I have come to realize that taking portraits is much, much harder than it looks! Kelly, Cortney, Ali, Chantri - I have a new respect for what you do! I do 'okay' with inanimate objects - but people is a 'different ball of wax' (where in the heck did that saying coming from?!?).

Berta I love all the pics you take. You truly have a gift.
Berta I also think your photos are beautiful! That turtle cake also look really yummy. Are Sundays ever really a day of rest??
