seasons bring change

In the Spring I found this picture - the grainfield just coming to life and bringing brilliant greens we missed during the cold winter months . . .

THEN . . . harvest-time brings interesting shapes and textures. This field below runs directly in front of the temple . . .

same location after harvest was complete - a carpet of soft gold . . .

end-of- season beauty. I call this picture, "With Age Comes Beauty".

"I don't worry too much about the future,
and I don't worry very much about the past.
The past is gone, and you can't change,
you can't correct it.
The future, you can anticipate,
but you can't necessarily do very much
about it. It is the PRESENT you have to
deal with. Reach out for every good
opportunity to do what you ought to do."

We were in Rexburg a couple weeks ago for Grandpa's funeral (it was fun to see Bob there). Anyway. I couldn't believe how much the temple stands out there in Rexburg. We have skyrise buildings blocking the temple here so it was so refreshing to be there and see it in all its majesty. :) The pictures during the different seasons are beautiful.
