Saturday morning - bright and early was Carter's special day. Cloudy, windy, cold but there was an excitement in the air. Carter is getting baptized! Family members from both sides showed up early to support Carter-boy.
I totally remember the day I got baptized almost like it was yesterday! I knew exactly what was happening to me, those many years ago, and I was the happiest eight year old alive! So, I was excited for Carter and the other 4 that were getting baptized today. The chapel was almost completely full of friends and family there to support those little candidates. The program was great, songs perfect and the baptism went smooth - no little toes poking up! Everything ran perfectly perfect! !
Then we were off to The Ridge for our family dinner / play time! The food was wonderful, as usual and I'm hoping to have a recipe or two if Kandee will so graciously accept the invitation to run them on the blog! When you see the pictures, you're going to want a recipe. D-lish!

really great shots mom. That first one is perfect... depth of field, white balance. Great
Hey, check it out i'm blogging! kind of Comment on the no toes. I half expected Carter to stick his toes up because when I told him he had to go all the way under or he would have to get "dunked" again he said, "cool I'm going to stick my leg up." Love the picture of Christ getting baptized in the background
