Wow! Amazing. I hear teensy snippets of A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief in there occasionally.

Your little "Grif" is one Boice I never knew. What a beautiful composition. Tell him to keep it up!

this has been his passion for a long time. I can still remember peeking into his room and seeing all kinds of foreign (to me) music equipment. and he was so young!

I have to admit...I was not expecting something so beautiful and moving! Nice work, Grif.

That gave me chills!
It is amazing & wonderful.
I promise that the red button was not there earlier....I even clicked refresh, and scrolled down. I'm glad I checked back.
He is amazing...and no piano lessons. Could you let me know what writing software he is using???
I'm curious...can he read notes or does he have that amazing talent of playing all by ear. That music would be perfect for a BIG Blockbuster movie!

I'd also love a copy of that piano music....loved it.

ANSWER TO QUESTION:
The only notes Grif can read is bass cleff as he played bass in orchestra - but, that's it! He composes everything by ear on his keyboard- then write all the parts, harmony (etc) by ear! It's funny too because when the musicians came to record, the only thing he had for them was some 'chicken-scratch' on paper and somehow, someway they figured out what they needed to play! ! ! I don't know what his software is - but it's what they use in big studios. Not sure he has any music for the piano part ! ! ! I'm sure it will come eventually.

OK, I am making a home movie DVD from all of our childhood movies. It would be the perfect background music. Is he sharing yet?

Thanks for the comments on the new music! I appreciate all of the support! If you want piano staff music or a copy to put on your iPod, just let me know. The track has been sold for an inspirational DVD, but if you aren't making money on it, you can use it (Mary Z).
THANKS AGAIN FOR THE SUPPORT!
