cul-de-sac

Did you ever think what it would be like to have 'street' named for you?  You don't have to look far!  Our very own Gub-ster (aka:  Griffin) had a cul-de-sac named after him!  His best friend's dad developed a housing addition on the west side of town and when he was naming the streets he picked family names for most and then surprised Grif by naming the, one and only, cul-de-sac after him.  Mark and Grif have been life-long friends and Bill, Mark's dad, really likes Grif! Who's Polo, you ask?  Well, that happened to be Mark's dog - a yellow lab, to be exact!  They had to put Polo down almost a year ago due to old age.

Not only is Grif going to get a 'star' on Hollywood Blvd one day, but he's got a street named after him . . . well, forever!

Note to Mark:  I looked and looked and didn't see a "Mamacompton St."  . . . wos' up with that - and after all those chocolate chip cookies!
