more fall before fall is gone

This morning I'm looking out the window and I it's 'snowing leaves'! They're going, going, almost gone - and my favorite time of year is disappearing before my eyes. My brain hasn't completely wrapped itself around the idea of everything turning white again and staying that way for months and months! I'm not fond of putting my sandles away - so, I ususally wear them all year . . . in the house!

I can remember driving through here during our five year drought and there was a mere trickle of water - the reservoir was 95% empty - that was pretty scary . . .

south fork of the Snake River. I loved this grouping of trees - it was so far from us but my trusty lens picked up on them and we got up-close-and-personal . . .
