i'm NOT getting 'caught-up' in this!

I remember standing in the store one day looking over the book section! I spotted this series of books on the "Best Seller" list and thought, "I'm NOT getting caught-up in this scam!" I resisted for a long, long time - would listen to people visit with each other and would be fascinated with what they had to say about the plot, the author and yada, yada, yada. I resisted! I kept tight watch over my wallet - I swore I was not going to part with my money over any more books - probably NEVER! I'd rather die (in Edward's arms!) than spend another dime on a book! I have shelves and shelves and boxes and boxes of books that do nothing more than take space, collect dust and loose their value! I just wasn't going there anymore.

One day when we were over at Nicole's, I suddenly felt myself slipping. I felt words forming in my throat, gliding along my tongue and then blasting out of my mouth . . . "Nicole, can I borrow your Twilight book?" Everyone in the room stood motionless - not believing their ears! Me, the person who sat so silent for over a year listening to everyone expound 'Twilight wisdom' was now reluctantly asking to borrow "The Book"! Consequently, the rest is blissful-reading-history! I caved in and don't regret a single second of my hypnotic journey.

Last night, Ashley, Nicole, Grandma and I went to the late show. Ash and Nic showed up over an hour early and saved our places in line! I'll bet you'll never guess what we saw? You guessed it! When we left the theater, it felt like we'd been drugged - everyone had this glazed look in their eyes - all I could seem to mutter all the way home, "That was SO good, that was SO good!"

Hey... there is nothing wrong with a little gushing! I'm glad you gave in. It was fun, wasn't it? :)

I saw the movie too but I must have been in a funk or something. I liked it but didn't LOVE it. I think I went in there knowing I would be disappointed because you just can't do a great book justice in 2 hours.

However, I have been listening to the soundtrack for the last couple days and remembering all of the parts from the movie that went along with this songs. I am thinking I really must have liked the movie but I just told myself that I wouldn't. The power of persuasion, I guess.

I'm glad you liked it! :)
