Our forth child, Cortney Ephraim Boice, was named after Ephraim Hanks (whos story you can read below). When Cortney was younger, approximately 8 or 9 years old and before Eph's gun was put into a museum, he was able to have a picture taken with this very gun. Grandma Elda brought the gun from Logan (carried in her purse) as it was in the care of her sister Mae. It was in our home for many days! We were able to hold it and run our fingers over the carving in the handle. Bob's mother, Elda was the granddaughter of Ephriam K. Hanks.
