I've been admiring these bails of hay for sometime - I put off taking pictures for too long so, I grabbed my camera today and out the door I went - little did I know that it was an inspired move . . .
as I got closer, they were even more amazing than I thought. The mountains in the background are actually the Tetons . . .

playing peek-a-boo behind the ginormous bails . . .
it's hot today but beautiful outside . . .
as I drove around the corner, I noticed today was the day they were going to collect these huge bails of 'gold'. I say 'gold' because hay is going for over $200 a ton - and just {1} of these babies must cost over $500+ . . . no kidding. You can actually get a better idea of just how big these bails are - check out the driver of the truck walking toward the back of the truck (double click on the picture).
As I was taking the pictures, something 'funny' happened - I'll have to wait to show you because I've run out of picture-space and will have to buy some more . . .
I'm so happy I got out today and caught a pic of these gentle giants!

UPDATE:
This afternoon I was feeling down-in-the-dumps and feeling, well not so good - SO NOT LIKE ME! SO, I erased everything and started over! Feeling sooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than I did earlier today! In fact, I have something funny to show you - something that happened while I took the pictures above!
I also ran into something interesting while trying to load some pictures of Grif and Katrina's move! My blog is now FULL - I cannot load another picture! After almost two years of journaling, I've used all my allotted space! Shucks!
